Polar at Tour de France

Polar is in close partnership with six professional cycling teams. The riders of those teams use Polar products while training for and competing in the most demanding road cycling competitions in the world. If you’re interested in knowing what happens behind the Tour de France scenes, check out our Facebook page for some insights. In July, we’ll be posting interviews from the riders, coaches and managers as the fierce race proceeds.
If you’re watching the live TV broadcasts on Versus, a long-time TV partner of Polar, you will see telemetry data with heart rate of some of the riders in Polar sponsored teams. Live heart rate data provides TV viewers with important information on the performance of the riders. It helps them understand road cycling better and especially the developments in particular stage. Basically, it clarifies why someone is successful in a competition.
